Dark VS. Light
I have lived in these white paper bag trousers from Zara. They are so comfy the material is soft and light, this makes it perfect for spring and summer. It has pockets at the front and an elastic waist. The bottoms of the trousers are rolled up, a cute detail if you ask me. I almost always roll up the end of my jeans or trousers.
To make it more appropriate for the colder spring days over here, I’m wearing it with a plain black sweatshirt from Bershka. I tugged it underneath my bra to make it look more cropped. I styled it with black because I love outfits with contrast and my favourite colours to colour block with, are black and white because I love a neutral colour palette.
Let’s get back to my white paper bag trousers. They’re a dream. Perfect for spring and also a great piece to wear on a less hot summer night with some cute sandals and a sleeveless top or shirt. As I said before, the material is soft and light. Because of that, the trousers become a little see-through when you wear a dark colour underneath or tugged in. If you wear light coloured lingerie and tug it in the right way, you won’t see it tough. It isn’t an issue for me personally. In my experience, every white piece is a little see-through when you wear a dark colour underneath. I linked a few beautiful and affordable white paper bag trousers down below.
