Camel, White, Rust and Nude

basic neutrals
| Blazer: Zara | Tee: Mooi! Company | Skirt: Missy Empire | Boots: Missguided | Bag: Zara |

If you have seen my blog post A little Rusty you know how much I love the rust coloured two-piece I bought recently at Missy Empire. The colour is magnificent and the material soft and warm. I love putting outfits together and playing around with it. Pieces you can mix and match are my favourites to style outfits with.

This set of Missy Empire is no exception. In the other post, I’m wearing the two-piece together. This time I’m wearing the skirt from the two-piece, with some other favourites from my wardrobe. I styled it with some nude coloured over knee boots that I made shorter by rolling up the boots and tugging them in. This way I have more than one type of boots. I put on my favourite white tee from Mooi! Company and blazer from Zara. To complete my look, I’m also wearing cool retro, light colour lens sunglasses and my favourite geometric bag. Because it was pretty cold that day, I choose to style this look with my big oversized white teddy coat to keep me warm.

Think outside the box

You know how much I love to mix and match the same pieces into different outfits. This mindset is something I also use when I’m shopping. I always think of how can I wear this piece differently. If you do that you can see how much outfits you can make with just one piece. It’s also important to think outside the box. A skirt that has the perfect length for one outfit is maybe too long for a different outfit with a different vibe. So what? Roll it up, make a knot or even pin it! Love the golden chain from your bag? Try wearing it as a belt too! I’m always playing around with pieces and trying to wear them in many ways!

If you want to recreate this look, I linked some pieces and similar pieces from this outfit down below.
